Home Growers

We want to give local communities control over their food supply, by giving them the skills and resources they need.

Our aim is to equip local people with the knowledge they need to grow their own food, and to create a community of growers that manage their own marketplace where they can control the locality, quality, and price.

Join us and become a home grower. We will help set up your garden, supply you with seeds and plants, provide a growing program, and offer growing workshops.

Why Home Growers

The joy of being responsible for growing a smaller number of varieties of produce is that they are easier to manage.

Plants do not compete with each other for light, air, and nutrients. With companion growing, the crops will compliment each other.

We offer you the opportunity to join one of our Grower's groups where we teach you the skills you need to manage growing within your own garden.

When you're ready we help set up your garden space and lay the foundation for you to start growing your own food.

We hold workshops that teach our growers about seed nurturing, eco-growing, and how to make their own compost.

Crops grown and harvested will be become part of our crop-swap sharing program. Produce will be available for purchase at a subsidised rate and proceeds will be reinvested back into the community.
